It is sickening to see the state the theater is in now. Ever since Mike Ilitch acquired the building, he has left it open to vandals. Its grand lobby stripped, its maidens smashed. We are sad to say it will most likely be demolished. We believe this because of the state it is in and the fact that there has been no proposals or interest in redeveloping the site by its owner.
