History Postcards Our Thoughts |

BuildingsOfDetroit.COM > Places > Charlevoix Building > Our Thoughts
The Charlevoix doesn't have a bright future ahead. It sits in a dead area, and it has been neglected by its owners. Seems like they just bought the property to make a buck somehow. The building is really showing its age and is slowly crumbling away. We believe this building should be preserved, as it is one of the oldest skyscrapers in Detroit still standing. The building has a style unlike any other in Detroit, with its yellow brick, three cornices and window styling. |
