Demolition of the Post Office in 1931. It was done by Arrow Wrecking Co., which dismantled many of Detroit's landmarks.
The site of the Post Office is cleared by 1932. This show shows how enormous the building was.
Work begins on the new Federal Building, today known as the Theodore J. Levin Federal Courthouse.
